Boston

My mom, grandmother, aunts and cousins and I are in Boston. My grand mother is having surgery tomorrow. (It's minor) Yesterday was the 1st anniversary of my cousin's death. We aren't dwelling on it. Just enjoying each other's company and having some much needed down tinme. We went to a very fancy italian restaurant. None of us could understand anything on the menu except that the cheapest item was $14.95 (house salad) after a bit of hemming and hawing I made the executive decision to leave. I wasn't paying $40 for a meal that I couldn't even pronounce and I wasn't doing it while dressed in jeans and sneakers.

We did take in a few of the sights. Boston is a wonderful city, filled with history and comical ironies. Lots of old and new. Here is me and my mom with my cousins Terry and Denise taking a horsdrawn buggy ride. It was a beautiful Spring evening. We truly enjoyed this bit of fun.
This is the guy who dragged our carcasses through the streets of Boston. His name is Charley. Yup, you got it. Charley Horse.
We are here for the night and will disembark tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to go and snuggle into the fine linens.
