1 awesome weekend down

One more to go.

I spent a couple of days in DC with my Best Bud. We went to Arlington Cemetary, saw the Washington and Lincoln Monuments, strolled along the Vietnam Wall, Gazed a precious sleeping baby panda at the zoo and ate at a most awesome Greek restaurant.

The trip out and back was good. I highly recommend Southwest Airlines. I was better than on time and had no issues except that I almost dropped my bag on a poor guy while trying to get it into the overhead bin.

Earl stayed at my house for the weekend. He and his GF stayed to babysit the place and make sure my cherubs didn't party too harty. The kids are all bubbling with a secret and he told me this morning that I should be pleased when I get home. He did some rearranging (pre-approved by me) and got the kids to help with some clean up chores. I came straight to work from the airport this morning so I won't see it until tonight.

I'm tired but refreshed. I'm looking forward to getting home yet I can't wait for next weekend.
